She had always been a popular girl at school, getting love declarations on a regular basis, but never considered her pretenders to be anything else than a nuisance ... somewhat of a daily chore.

But when the shrinking virus struck, her school "lost" the majority of its male students to it, shrunken, some where never seen again, others had been found but crushed to death either accidentally, but for many, on purpose ... well, the bullies and the not so popular ones at least.
